Manchester United will approve more funds for Reuben Amorim Director of Football Jason Wilcox has announced plans to strengthen his squad in the transfer market.

Wilcox insisted there is “a clear plan” to progress and transfers will be a big part of the ultimate goal of winning the Premier League and Champions League.

The Red Devils have been looking in some form in recent weeks after making it three consecutive wins ahead of Saturday’s visit of Nottingham Forest.

Major changes were made to Amorim’s squad last summer, with big names leaving and Matheus Cunha being added. Brian Mbeumo, benjamin sesco And sene lamens.

“We have to buy the right players. The right players who are talented but can also handle pressure, who can take the team forward.

“It’s not always about signing specific talents, they have to have the right character and be someone who can bring something different to the team.

“We are really happy with where we are, we know we have to improve and, you know, the players, they will never be satisfied, Ruben will never be happy, I will never be happy, that’s the way we are built.

“We’re always looking to improve. Anybody working at Manchester United should think the same and they think the same, given the standards we’re driving by every day.”
