The dispute has prompted Disney to run a public message on YouTube TV warning subscribers that the network will go dark on Friday if the deal is not completed.

Still, Disney and other programmers say that their content is what makes YouTube TV valuable to subscribers, and therefore, they should be paid fairly.

“We make significant investments in our content and expect our partners to pay us fair rates that reflect that value,” Disney said in a statement.

This year alone, YouTube TV has feuded with Paramount, Fox, NBCUniversal, Televisivision, and Disney.
