Ahmedabad, Oct 30 (IANS) Adani Power Ltd (APL) on Thursday reported strong continuing operating revenue of Rs 13,106.34 crore for Q2FY26 as against Rs 12,949.12 crore in Q2FY25 on higher volumes as the company clocked 23.7 billion units, despite a higher base effect and demand disruption due to early and prolonged monsoon. But recorded higher consolidated power sales volume of 7.4 percent.
Despite additional operating expenses from recent acquisitions year-on-year, the Adani group company reported stable consolidated EBITDA at Rs 6,001 crore for Q2 compared to Rs 6,000 crore for Q2 FY25.
In the July-September period, the company saw new long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) awards of 2,400 MW from Bihar discoms, 1,600 MW from Madhya Pradesh discoms and 570 MW from Karnataka discoms (till October 25).
Adani Power also acquired 600 MW Vidarbha Industries Power Ltd under the corporate insolvency resolution process, taking the total capacity to 18,150 MW.

We are continuously expanding our presence in the market by securing new long-term PPAs of 4.5 GW under the Shakti scheme.”
“Our strong profitability and liquidity position us to achieve our enhanced capacity expansion target of 42 GW by 2031-32. We have already placed orders for equipment and land for the entire 23.7 GW expansion, project implementation is progressing rapidly,” he said.
Merchant and short-term sales volume for Q2 FY26 was up 12.9 per cent at 5.7 BU, compared to 5.0 BU in Q2 FY25. Similarly, merchant volume for H1 FY26 was up 10.5 per cent at 11.4 BU, compared to 10.3 BU for H1 FY25.
