The decision to replace Henry Cavill was a strange one. Cavill was the best thing about the show and has long been a champion of the adaptation of Sapkowski’s work. Hemsworth is an interesting replacement: He has the good looks of a leading man, but with softer features and big, charming eyes. Giving Hemsworth all the grace in the world for stepping into such a difficult role, it’s impossible to avoid feeling that this is a huge letdown.
