Traffic will be restricted in many parts of the city from 2 pm to 9 pm. “This is to ensure smooth vehicular movement and safety of the VVIP convoy as well as to avoid traffic congestion,” the traffic police said.

Movement of heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will be completely prohibited on both the south and north carriageways of the Western Express Highway, from Vakola flyover to Dahisar toll naka.
However, emergency service vehicles such as ambulances, fire brigade and police vehicles as well as government vehicles deployed for VIP protection are exempted from the restrictions.
The no-parking zones are Western Express Highway (both north and south), Nesco Service Road, Ghas Bazaar Road, Trauma Care Hospital Service Road, Service Road in front of Mahananda Dairy, Vanarai Police Station Service Road and Niralon Company Service Road.
According to News18, the road from Nesco Gap to Mrinaltai Gor Junction will now be open for one-way traffic.
No-entry zone:
1) No entry for general vehicles between Mrinaltai Gor Junction and Nesco Gap.
2) Only emergency service vehicles, VIP convoys and local residents are allowed.
3) Right turn from Mrinaltai Gor Junction via Ram Mandir Road till Nesco Gap is completely closed.
4) The service road between Hub Mall and Jecoch (Nesco) Junction will also remain closed for traffic.
