Ducati India on Monday launched the 2025 Multistrada V2, available in two variants – Multistrada V2 and Multistrada V2 S. Prices start at ₹18.88 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base V2 in Ducati Red and go up to ₹21.29 lakh for the top-spec V2 S in Storm Green.

The new Multistrada V2 features Ducati’s latest V2 engine – an 890cc, 90-degree V-twin with variable valve timing. It produces 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, meeting India’s E20 fuel standards. The valve clearance interval has been extended to 45,000 km.

Weighing 18 kg less than its predecessor, the 2025 Multistrada V2 uses a new aluminum monocoque frame, a steel trellis subframe and a cast-aluminium swingarm derived from the Multistrada V4. The bike weighs 199 kg for the V2 and 202 kg (without fuel) for the V2 S.

Design updates include sharper lines, new headlights with DRLs inspired by the Panigale and Multistrada V4 and a redesigned silencer. Seat height is low, improving accessibility and comfort. The pillion seat and top box mount have also been reworked for better space and legroom.

The Multistrada V2 features a 5-inch full-TFT color display with three info modes and five riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet. Safety features include cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, wheelie control and engine brake control, which are adjustable via the display.

Standard features include cruise control, a USB charging port, Ducati Brake Light EVO and a Coming Home headlight function.

The Multistrada V2 S includes Ducati’s Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evo – a semi-active system that automatically adjusts damping in real time. It also features a minimum preload function to lower the rear suspension at the touch of a button. Suspension is handled by electronically controlled Marzocchi forks and a rear shock, each with 170 mm of travel.

Braking comes from Brembo calipers with dual 320 mm front discs and a 265 mm rear disc. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres.

Ducati also claims to have refined the Enduro mode with a dedicated power map for off-road riding and less electronic interference. The new Wet Mode provides better grip on slippery surfaces.
