Marks & Spencer emerges as top performer in annual Christmas supermarket taste test morrison Also impressed by winning in three prestigious categories.

The judges praised the £50 M&S Oakham Hot Maple-Glazed Turkey Crown for its “sticky, tangy hot maple glaze and fruit-filled stuffing”, while joint winner Sainsbury’s impressed the panel with its “showstopper”, British free-range with pork, apricots, pears, cranberries and candied ginger stuffing. Further cementing its success, M&S also won the Best Christmas Pudding award with its Collection 12 Months Mature Edition with Pecans and Panettone, which cost £16 and was described as “delicious” with “lots of fruit and big chunks of nuts”.
