Leaked emails seen mail on sunday It was revealed that Andrew had passed Ms Giuffre’s social security number and date of birth to his Met Police bodyguard.

Andrew reportedly told Ed Perkins, Queen Elizabeth’s deputy press secretary, that he had asked a security officer close to him to obtain information about Ms Giuffre.

“It also appears that he has a criminal record [United] States,” Andrew wrote to Mr. Perkins. “I have given him the date of birth.” [date of birth] and XXX, Social Security Number to check with on duty PPO [personal protection officer],

The extraordinary revelations come a day after Prince Andrew gave up the use of his titles and honorsThat includes assuming the title of Duke of York following the sexual abuse scandal involving convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, which has lasted more than a decade.

His abdication came just days before Ms Giuffre’s memoir was published, which exposes details of abuse allegations against the disgraced prince and his relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in greater focus.

In a statement released Friday night, Prince Andrew said: “In discussions with the King and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded that I have been repeatedly accused of detracting from the work of Her Majesty and the Royal Family.”

The decision comes amid increasing pressure from King Charles, who is said to be “delighted” that it has gone.

Ms Giuffre has accused Andrew of having sex with her three times when she was 17 years old. She claims he sexually abused her as a teenager on Epstein’s private island, Little St. James. The prince has always denied the claims.

In March 2022, Andrew paid Ms Giuffre millions of dollars to settle a civil lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.

As part of the agreement, he was to pay damages to Ms Giuffre and make a donation to a charity “in support of victims’ rights”, despite having never met her.

Ms Giuffre’s family said she has no criminal record, and are requesting a full investigation into how Andrew obtained the confidential information released to Mr Perkins.

Andrew reportedly refused to reveal how he obtained Ms Giuffre’s Social Security number mail on sunday Said.

His family is also reiterating their call for the king to “take out the ‘prince’ in Andrew” and strip him of his principality.

Despite renouncing his titles, Andrew remains a prince. When he was born in 1960, he was automatically a prince as the son of a king, and this could only be changed if a letter patent was issued by the king.

Ms Giuffre’s brother, Sky Roberts, told ITV News: “I want to commend the King and commend the UK for taking some action.

“Although it may not be enough, in many ways as survivors see it, it is still more than what we have been given from our own government, even though we have the Epstein files.

“Now, as for the king, I think he can do a lot more. He also has the ability to take away the title of prince, which is what we would ask for.

“I think we’ve already taken all of these necessary steps. Why not take it one step further and have him renounce his princely title as well?”
