son of former England And nottingham forest guard Stuart Pierce Died after a tractor accident.
Harley Pierce, from Marlboro WiltshireDied at the scene of the crash on the A417 Old Birdlip Hill in Witcombe, GlosterGloucestershire Police said.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.30pm on 16 October.
Police said that the 21-year-old youth was the driver of the tractor.
His family have paid tribute to a “beloved son and devoted brother”.
In a tribute released by police, the family said: “Our family is truly shocked and heartbroken by the loss of our beloved son and devoted brother, Harley.
“A soul who left an unforgettable impression on all who knew him.
“He was a golden boy with an infectious smile, and this shocking tragedy will leave a huge hole in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
“With a quiet, collected strength and deep kindness, we are proud of the young man who was demonstrating an amazing work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit in the agriculture industry.
“He will always be our shining star. Rest in peace our beautiful son and brother. You will never be forgotten.”
Forrest posted on X: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Harley Pierce.
“The thoughts of everyone associated with Nottingham Forest are with Stuart and his family at this difficult time.”
West Ham United posted on Twitter: “We are saddened to hear of the passing of Harley Pearce.
“Everyone at the club offers their deepest condolences to Stuart and his family at this sad time.”
Manchester City, one of Stuart Pearce’s former clubs, posted on Twitter: “Everyone at Manchester City sends their love and thoughts to Stuart and his family at this difficult time.”
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
Information can be given online to the police by quoting incident number 284 of October 16.
