May the light of truth and justice always illuminate our path: Mallikarjun Kharge’s Diwali wishes

New Delhi, October 20 (IANS) Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday extended Diwali greetings, wishing happiness and prosperity for all and the light of truth and justice.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also greeted the people on this occasion.

Diwali is known as the festival of lights, which symbolizes the spiritual victory of righteousness over unrighteousness, light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the country, where people light lamps and candles and worship Goddess Lakshmi.

In a post on X, Kharge said, “I wish all the countrymen a very happy Diwali. May this wonderful festival that takes you from darkness to light, fill your lives with happiness. May everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace and prosperity, this is my heartfelt wish.”

He said, “Let us all come together to promote love, brotherhood, harmony and goodwill and unitedly combat injustice, ignorance and discrimination, so that the light of truth and justice always illuminates our path.”

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also wrote on X and posted, “Warm greetings to all the countrymen on the great festival of light and happiness, Diwali. I pray to Lord Shri Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi that this holy festival brings happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone’s life.”

Congress party also posted a message on Twitter and extended its best wishes.

It said, “Warm wishes of Diwali to all the countrymen. May this holy festival bring happiness, prosperity and prosperity in the lives of all of you.”

Earlier in the day, President Draupadi Murmu also greeted the countrymen on Diwali and wished happiness and prosperity for all.

PM Modi also took to social media and extended warm wishes for Diwali.

“Best wishes on the occasion of Diwali. May this festival of lights illuminate our lives with harmony, happiness and prosperity. May the spirit of positivity surround us,” he said in a post on X.
