Diwali vacation in schools of Uttar Pradesh will be extended till October 23

Keeping in mind the holiday season, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced that both public and private schools will remain closed from October 20 to October 23 for Diwali celebrations. Including the weekend of October 18-19, students will enjoy a mandatory five days off.

Schools in Jammu division have also announced extended holidays from October 19 to November 2. The next day of classes in Jammu schools is on Monday, November 3.

The administration has called on all schools to ensure that parents and children are aware of the official holiday schedule and make it clear when schools will reopen.
