Sunderland reached its fourth position Premier League Win of the season with 2-0 win over strugglers wolves,
Nordy Mukiele sent the Black Cats ahead at the Stadium of Light with a low effort that hit between the legs of goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
The visitors took control of the game after half-time, but were unable to convert from promising positions, and had good chances from substitutes Tolu Arokodare and Jackson Tchoua, which ultimately missed the target.
Any hopes of a possible comeback were ended when Ladislav Krzysz headed the ball into his own net in stoppage time, leaving Vitor Pereira’s Wolves bottom of the standings and Sunderland taking three points.

Ballard had a header saved from a Xhaka corner and a quick break allowed Rodrigo Gomes to head forward, but some good defensive work from Chris Rigg kept them out.
Wolves looked to attack minutes into the second half and came close when Hugo Bueno’s cross reached Joao Gomes, who palmed his effort away.
Munetsi went down in the box and referee Robert Jones waved away the penalty call before Rodrigo Gomes cut in and fired.
Although the visitors enjoyed a brighter and more confident spell, Sunderland had the next chance when Isidore’s strike went wide.
Home keeper Robin Rofes made a save to block Munetsi’s effort and, at the other end, Ballard was unable to hook Chemsdyne Talby’s cross home at the back post.
With Wolves forced to make a few saves in the closing stages, Arokodare nodded and fired an awkward shot over the bar, before Tchachoua fired the ball across goal.
However, any hopes of a Wolves comeback in the last minute were dashed in the second minute of stoppage time when Krejci stuck a foot out and headed Talby’s cross past Johnstone.
