‘RSS is like a diamond, the more it is pierced, the more it will shine’: Karnataka BJP leader

Bengaluru, October 17 (IANS) Leader of opposition in Karnataka Assembly R. Reacting to the Congress-led government’s move to make it mandatory for all private organizations to seek permission from authorities, Ashok on Friday said the RSS is like a diamond and the more it is rubbed, the more it shines.

Ashok social media platform

Ashok asserted, “No matter how much Congress leaders try to tarnish it, they can do no harm to the RSS. The organization is like a diamond – the more it is worn, the more it shines.”

Ashok further alleged that the Congress Party’s alliance with the Muslim League paved the way for the partition of the country. He said the party has a dark history of being responsible for more than one lakh communal clashes across India. According to him, this trend started during the time of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and is being seen even today in his great grandson Rahul Gandhi and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge.

He said, “Congress thinks it can control the RSS. It is not possible to sideline an organization by force. Force can be used only against individuals who carry out illegal activities. RSS does not fall in this category. Its members are people who love the country.”

Highlighting the centenary celebrations of the RSS, Ashok said disciplined marches are being organized across the country, instilling patriotism and hope for the future while instilling a sense of security among India’s 140 crore people.

Ashok also criticized the Congress party and its leadership, saying, “The Congress is fed up with all this. The party founded by a foreigner, AO Hume, is now on the verge of extinction. It is managing to survive only because it is in power in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana. The party which ruled Delhi for 60 years has lost its presence today.”

“In this backdrop, the Congress is carrying out anti-Hindu and anti-India toolkit conspiracies, joining hands with evil forces and exposing itself to the people,” Ashok alleged.
