Let’s cut to the chase. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach It is a masterpiece. It has the perfect recipe for an unforgettable story, truly stunning visuals and gameplay that is unique and innovative.
When it was released in 2019, death stranding Was divisive. Some parts of the original game are quite long and difficult, and I understand why some found the pace too slow, but the point is – you’re supposed to feel that struggle and that’s something I enjoyed.
gameplay loop in death stranding The titles involve delivering goods from point A to point B while traversing a brutal open world and combating a variety of enemies. Delivering cargo further adds to the world, and NPCs (non-playable characters) give protagonist Sam ‘likes’. The more likes you get, the higher the rating and better rewards from some related areas, like better weapons or equipment that can really make a difference. Acquiring different features brings new sections of the world online, so resources critical to survival can be shared.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach This effectively streamlines this loop, not only attracting those who bounced from the first game but also ensuring that those who have completed the first game don’t have to go through the same difficulties again. It very cleverly continues where the first game left off and does it in a meaningful way – it’s not just a sequel for the sake of it.
It does what every good sequel should do: refines and improves its predecessor in every area. The story is excellent and really stuck with me, each character is portrayed and played to perfection, with lots of crazy and quirky moments along the way.
The second installment features more fast-paced action compared to the original game. This adds more of a tactical element to reaching certain areas, in terms of eliminating enemies and gathering vital resources. It also adds another dimension to resource management in terms of what you need to take with you.
It’s a complex game, but because it has so many layers, it never feels stale, and new elements are constantly being added as the game evolves. How you take advantage of these depends on how you want to play.
You can go in guns blazing and risk damaging equipment; Find a secret location and take out the enemies one by one; Or try a covert approach, then be detected, yet have fun even when the plan goes awry, as the game allows for unforgettable unscripted moments.

another thing that makes Death Stranding 2: On the Beach It feels so good to stand out from the crowd. In my opinion, there is no better looking game than this one. Its photo-realism is unmatched and this extends to character models, mountain ranges, rainforests, wildfires, sandstorms, action-heavy scenes and much more. Even Rockstar Games will have a job at the top of this GTA 6.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Runs exactly as it should – not once did I experience a single stutter or frame-rate drop in both quality and performance modes. And that’s even more impressive considering how spectacular it looks.
