By Tuesday afternoon, much of the building’s exterior was cordoned off, with staff required to show identification to enter the building while teams worked to clean glass and paint.

Superintendent Jesse Wynne of the City of London Police said: “At approximately 2am on 14 October, the City of London Police were alerted to individuals causing damage to a premises on Coleman Street.
