New Delhi, October 14 (IANS) Bihar politics has seen an unusual literary exchange between RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha and Congress leader Imran Pratapgarhi. Amidst these poetic exchanges, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav made an eloquent comment, saying, “Manoj Babu is isolated, neglected”.
Yadav said, “Everything (RJD‑Congress) is normal. Manoj Babu is isolated, neglected.”
He said, “He is my brother, a scholar whose genius is not recognised, while the uneducated are valued. His vision is elsewhere, his pain distributed differently.”
Manoj Jha had posted a poetic couplet referring to Rahim’s famous couplets on love and unity, to which Imran Pratapgarhi responded with his own verses depicting the burning city and the need for liberation.
Manoj Jha’s original post on (loosely translated).
In response to this, Imran Pratapgarhi wrote, ‘The burning city can still be saved even if the eyes fill with tears.’
Pappu Yadav also commented on Congress’s preparations for Bihar elections and said, “Don’t worry about Congress’s preparations. It respects its workers and knows how to protect its self-respect. This will not weaken its alliance. Congress takes every decision in the interest of Bihar and the country. It works in the interest of the Constitution and democracy.”
No consensus has been reached yet on seat sharing between the two parties. Rahul Gandhi reportedly spoke to Tejashwi Yadav over phone on this issue.
The Congress leadership was waiting for a consensus to hold a joint meeting with Tejashwi to show the unity of the alliance.
On Monday morning, Rahul Gandhi met Bihar Congress leaders, which was followed by a nearly two-hour meeting between Tejashwi Yadav, Congress general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal and other leaders from the state.
It is being told that Congress is adamant on contesting elections on 60 seats and retaining its favorite seats. Tejashwi Yadav told Congress leaders that talks with VIPs and other allies are still pending. After this, Tejashwi met senior Congress leaders including Venugopal, Krishna Allavaru and Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram.
