“As Uttar Pradesh moves towards its Vision 2047, citizen participation is at the heart of its progress. Contribute your ideas to help shape a strong, inclusive and developed Uttar Pradesh,” the state information and public relations department said, urging people to submit their suggestions through the QR code or visit https://samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in.
Earlier, CM Adityanath addressed an event organized here to encourage sports and said, “To promote sports, more than 16,000 Yuva Mangal and Mahila Mangal teams are being provided sports kits by the Youth Welfare Department across the state. On this occasion, I heartily congratulate all the Mangal Dals and Yuvak Mangal Dals who have received the sports kits and welcome your presence.”
Describing the sports kits as a gift ahead of the Diwali festival, he said, “At present, more than 1,05,000 youth and Mahila Mangal Dals are active in the state.”
“The sports kit includes volleyball, football, badminton and other games,” he said while urging the Mars parties to promote the state’s culture and heritage through various events.
CM Adityanath said, “This program has been organized to distribute incentive materials to the Yuvak Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal teams, similar to the recognition given to the winners of Youth Parliament 2025, on the occasion of the inauguration of the MLA and MP sports competitions…”
He said that the MLA and MP sports competition is the result of the foresight of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that the state government plans to extend the sports competition to the Gram Panchayat level.
Giving the example of organizing Ramlilas at the rural level, he said, “The idea behind organizing sports events is to keep people healthy and work with team spirit.”
He said that by adopting sports we can remain healthy and contribute to rural level development.
“This is the spirit that fuels PM Modi’s concepts of ‘Khelo India’, ‘Fit India Movement’ and MP and MLA sports events,” he said. He said that the event will also promote healthy competition and motivate the society for progress.
The Chief Minister also congratulated the Uttar Pradesh Police for winning the accolade and said that the state government has employed more than 500 sportspersons in the force.
He said, “Today sports is not just a means of fitness and entertainment but it is also opening doors to employment and self-reliance.”
