His statement comes soon after his wife Jyoti Singh met political strategist and Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishor at his residence in Sheikhpura House, Patna on Friday.
The meeting had sparked political speculation, but Jyoti Singh clarified that there was no political purpose to his visit.
“I have not come to participate in any election or ask for a ticket. The injustice I have faced should not happen to any other woman. I want to be the voice of all women who are facing injustice,” she told reporters on Friday.
Jyoti Singh’s statement is being seen as a strong voice for women’s rights and social justice.
Her words are not focused on personal political gains but on women empowerment and advocacy of fairness in society.
Together, the couple’s statements have made their non-electoral stance clear, putting an end to rumors about Pawan Singh’s possible candidature.
The actor stressed that although he is loyal to his party and community, he has no plans to enter the electoral fray.
Political observers believe that Singh’s announcement brings some degree of stability to the political discourse in Bihar, as his possible entry was widely discussed in the media and political circles.
He says his clear stance shows that his influence will be cultural and community-based rather than directly political.
Pawan Singh, who is called the power star of Bhojpuri cinema, has a strong base in Shahabad region of Bihar.
