Madeleine McCann’s sister has told the court she “always knew” that a woman claimed to be missing girl He didn’t have a brother.

Ms. Wandelt, 24, from Lubin is accused of stalking Kate and Gerry McCann in south-west Poland in a manner causing serious concern or distress between June 2022 and February this year.
Giving evidence remotely at Leicester Crown Court, Emily said it was “creepy” and “disturbing” when Ms Wandelt sent her messages detailing explicit memories of her childhood.
However, she said she did not want Ms Wandelt to have a DNA test because she “always knew she was not Madeleine”.
Asked if she had replied to any messages Wandelt sent her, Emily told the jury: “No, I didn’t think it appropriate to get involved, and I don’t usually reply to people I don’t know, just to really protect myself.”
Prosecutor Nadia Silver continued: “Did you at any time want to do DNA testing with Julia Wandelt?”
He replied: “No.”
When asked why she did not want to have a DNA test, Madeleine’s sister added: “Because I always knew she was not Madeleine, I didn’t need guidance, but people around me didn’t think it was appropriate for her to have a DNA test.”
