Brazilian military police rescued one jaguar Struggling in the Rio Negro, a chief Amazon Tributary.
Video looks tired Animal Swimming towards a police boat, where officers pushed out a makeshift flotation device. Jaguar remained stationary and was guided to shore on October 1, 2025.
Local reports said the animal was taken to a veterinary hospital, where examination found multiple gunshot wounds, broken teeth and more than 30 lead fragments in its skull and neck.
The animal’s care is ongoing and officials have begun an investigation.
