Indian singer and actor Rajveer Jawanda dies at the age of 35 after a motorcycle accident in the Himalayan state Himachal Pradesh,

Jawanda spent 11 days on life support after the incident on September 27, when he lost control of his motorcycle after encountering stray cattle on the road.

Authorities said the singer suffered serious head and spinal injuries and was transferred from a local hospital to the city of Mohali in northwestern Punjab in “extremely critical” condition. Despite intensive care, he did not recover.

Actor Neeru Bajwa wrote on Instagram that it was “so painful to lose such a happy and kind man,” while comedian Gurpreet Googie said: “Death has won, youth has lost. How will we forget you, little brother?”

Punjab CM says he is “saddened” by Rajveer Jawanda’s passing

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid a tribute to Jawanda, writing that “the star of the Punjabi music world has gone missing forever”.

Earlier, when Jawanda was still in the hospital, Mann visited the hospital to check on his condition and told reporters that the singer’s health was “better than yesterday”, but remained unconscious.

Punjabi singer and producer Gippy Grewal says

Fellow artists mourn the death of Rajveer Jawanda

Tributes have poured in from India’s Punjabi film and music circles following the death of singer-actor Rajveer Jawanda, whose songs like “Sardaari” and “Do Ni Sana” earned him a devoted following.

Authorities await medical report after singer’s death

Authorities in northern India have said formal medical examinations are underway following the death of Punjabi singer-actor Rajveer Jawanda.

Police have said that Jawanda appears to have lost control of his motorcycle after hitting stray cattle on a highway.

He was transferred from a local hospital in neighboring Punjab state to Fortis Hospital Mohali, where doctors described his condition as “extremely critical” until his death.

Further medical details are expected to be released once the official paperwork is completed.

Police launch formal investigation into accident

Authorities in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh have launched a formal investigation into the motorcycle accident that injured Punjabi singer-actor Rajveer Jawanda.

Officials at Badadi police station, about 60 kilometers north of Chandigarh, said The Indian Express That early evidence suggests that Jabwanda’s motorcycle may have struck stray cattle on a semi-rural stretch of road with limited lighting. CCTV footage from nearby shops and highway cameras is being reviewed to establish the sequence of events.

Police said a mechanical inspection of the bike and a forensic report would follow.

The 35-year-old artiste was traveling alone when the accident occurred.

Zwanda’s condition remained critical for 11 days before death

Doctors at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, a city in northern India’s Punjab state, confirmed that Rajveer Jawanda died on Wednesday after suffering severe head and spinal injuries from a motorcycle accident on September 27.

The accident occurred near Baidi, a small industrial town in the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh, about 60 kilometers north of Chandigarh.

Hospital officials said Zwanda had been on life support since his admission and that despite intensive treatment his neurological activity remained “minimal”.

Local police in Solan district, which covers the accident site, said preliminary findings suggest that his bike hit stray cattle, causing him to lose control. He was stabilized at a local facility before being shifted to Mohali for specialist neuro-trauma care.
