Hyderabad, October 7 (IANS) The by -election for Jubilee Hills Assembly Constitution in Hyderabad will be held under the new election reforms launched by the Election Commission of India, Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy said on Tuesday.
He held a meeting with representatives of various political parties on Tuesday after the announcement of the program for the by-election.

The CEO said that the upcoming by-election will be held under the new election reforms launched by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Ganesh Kumar, which is being rolled out for the first time during the Bihar assembly elections and for the by-elections for eight assembly constituencies across the country.
He said that the objective of these reforms is to increase voter facility, transparency and efficiency in the conduct of elections.

The CEO reviewed the preparations of various departments to ensure the operation of independent, fair, inclusive and peaceful elections. He appealed to all political parties to expand full cooperation and strictly follow the model code of conduct.
The by -election in Jubilee Hills constituency will be held on 11 November.
This vacancy is due to the death of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath in June.
According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission, the official notification for the by -election will be released on 13 October, while the last date for filing nominations is 21 October. The nomination check will be conducted on 22 October, and the return of candidature will be allowed by 24 October.
The votes will be counted on 14 November, and the election process will be completed by 16 November, 2025.
