Vijayendra said that while the public statement is one thing, the Chief Minister should reveal his internal intentions.
He said, “The call for a separate religion has been revived. I have seen this in newspapers. The discussion on Veerashaiva-Lingayat or Lingayat Dharma has come back to the fore, and the public knows who is speaking on the issue in the background,” he said.
“We should protect Hinduism today and be vigilant for efforts to divide it. Also, efforts should be made to unite the society. Between all the communities, including the eminent castes, backward classes, Vokkaliga, and Veerashaiva-Lingayat communities-that financially, socially dissatisfied. Hurry?” He questioned.
He criticized the census of ahead caste, stating that in some areas, even different individuals are being imprisoned improperly.
“There is no proper preparation, yet the Chief Minister insists that it should be completed within 15 days. Some forces are also trying to divide the society. They are trying to reduce Hinduism. Similar conspiracy and efforts are in the past, but they failed. It will not succeed in the future.”
The statement of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Lingayat is a separate religion, a clash between two senior Congress ministers – the big and medium industry minister MB Patil Minister and the Lingayat community from the Lingayat community in Karnataka for forest forests.
Siddaramaiah made a statement that Lingayat is a separate religion in Bengaluru on Sunday. The issue raised by the Congress -led government in 2017 was kept aside after the election shock.
Siddaramaiah then recommended the Center to declare Lingayats a separate religion.
Deputy Chief Minister and State Congress President DK Shivkumar had apologized to the public for an attempt to create a separate religion for Lingayats.
However, the dispute has resumed.
