Vikit Bharat Buildathon 2025 launched for classes 6-12: you all need to know

Vikasit Bharat Buildhan 2025 is a nationwide innovation movement launched by the Ministry of Education and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog. Open to engage students in classes 6 to 12 classes, it is designed for the country’s largest student innovation initiative, encouraging young people to develop creative solutions and prototypes for real -life challenges.

Buildhan By 2047, ‘Vikas Bharat @2047’ of India developed by 2047 is an important step towards achieving vision. Registration for Vikasit Bharat Buildhan 2025 will close on 6 October.

In a post on X, the ministry said, “Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, started by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with @Aimtoinnovate @nitiaayog, which aims to highlight the creativity of 6 to 12 of classes of classes across the nation. #Viksitbharat @2047.”

Students, teachers and schools across the country are invited to participate wholeheartedly in this effort. This is just more than a competition; It is a platform to display creativity, invention and problem-solving capabilities on national and international scale.

Top performing schools and student teams will be recognized with awards and will receive long -term support through corporate, mentorship and resources to further develop their innovations.

, Viksit bharat Buildhan 2025 students have a clear call to have big dreams, fearless innovation, and contributes to India’s visit to become a developed nation by 2047. Each school and every student are invited to participate in this movement, demonstrate their talent, and to make their mark as yesterday’s newcomers, “the Ministry of Education said in a press release.

Themes of Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025

The participating students will work around four subjects of national importance:

Atmanirbhar bharat: Construction of self -sufficient systems and solutions for India.

indigenous: To promote indigenous ideas and innovation.

Vocal for local: To promote local products, crafts and resources.

Samriddhi: Avenge

Major features of buildton

Students will cooperate to innovate in the hope of the world’s biggest innovation incident.

Students will also be able to gain practical experience as per National Education Policy 2020.

The event will be an inclusive case, in which special attention will be paid to confusing students from aspirational districts, tribal and remote areas.

Time period of events

launch: Buildon was launched on 23 September 2025.

Registration: Registrations started on 23 September and today, open till 6 October.

Preparation activities: These activities will be from October 6 to October 12, 2025.

Nationwide Live Buildhan: The main live event is scheduled for October 13, 2025 in all schools.

Presenting entries: Schools need to present entries in the form of photos and videos between October 14 and October 31, 2025.

Evaluation of entries: For November 2025, a plan has been planned in view of a national panel of experts.

Announcement of winners: Top winners are to be announced in December 2025.

how to apply

Schools can register their students for this nationwide innovation movement team today (Monday) till date. Each school will have to send images and videos of the student-developed prototype.

These will be evaluated by a national panel of experts. Shortlisted teams will not only earn prizes, but will also receive long -term mentorship and corporate assistance to further strengthen their innovations.

According to the eligibility criteria of the ministry for uniform participation, one team must include five to seven members, many teams can be from the same school, teachers will act as patrons guiding the students, and the entries should be presented as concept work, working models or prototypes.
