Justin, 06/10/202506/10/2025

Patna, 5 October (IANS) Reema Devi, Reema Devi, a resident of Baga district in West Champaran district of Bihar, is an inspiration for people and villagers of fellow women. The reason behind this is his self-reliance and running enterprise, which he started after receiving monetary assistance under the Jeevika Didi scheme.

His association with the livelihood group marked the change in their fate as it led to their change.

She was struggling financially at that time and was difficult for her to support her family, but after joining the livelihood group, her life changed.

Now, Reema Devi is self -sufficient and is running her own business, which allows her to support her family.

He thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that under his leadership, women are becoming self -sufficient.

“Earlier, they were afraid to leave their homes, but now they are running their own business. Our financial problems are addressed,” he said.

Reema Devi told IANS that she had joined the Jeevika Group three years ago.

When he first started his business through livelihood, he received Rs 10,000 to build a shop, and then Rs 20,000 to buy goods. After a while, he received Rs 45,000.

He said, “Thank you very much for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This shop provides a good source of food for the whole family, which has no problem,” he commented.

In particular, the Chief Minister’s Mahila Employment Scheme is strengthening and strengthening women through self-employment and livelihood opportunities.

The scheme provides financial assistance to a woman from each family in the state, making them capable of starting employment or livelihood activities of their choice.
