A man has been killed in the weather related incident and about 234,000 properties are without electricity as Ireland. Storm Amy brings extensive disintegration.
The storm closed local floods, fallen trees, transport disruption and schools.
Republic of IrelandThe forecast agency of the CO Dongal issued its highest level of wind warnings, where the residents were advised to shelter in space between 4PM to 6pm.
Red wind warning meant that trees collapsed, damage to electric lines, dangerous travel conditions, structural damage and wave overtopting.
The Irish police said they were treating an incident where a person in the Katykei area of the county was seriously injured, which was as a weather related, after 4.15 pm.
A Garda Sichana later said that he had died and his body was removed in the morgue at the University Hospital, where a post -mortem examination would be done in the appointed time.
