But, she says, there was a warning.

This, she insists and says, all were lies.
A few months after the first time, Alam says that she received a call from a woman, who recognized herself as the wife of Dahlan. The caller allegedly told him that Duhelan was fooling him. At one point he misbehaved racially with Alam, allegedly told him that “he would also be ashamed to tell his friends that he loves a bangle”.
Surprised by the caller’s claim that Dukhlan was married, Alam says that she returns most of her gifts. He kept the Quran, prayer mat and some other items of religious meaning. And he demanded that the duo clarified the rumors about abortion of his child.
“I was very fierce,” she remembers.
Alam says that there was a “good, positive image” in diplomat. She claims that she will grab her shoes, feed her with her hands and “very helpful all the time”.
In view of the call, she was all needed, she says, “a proper closed and providing an forgiveness”.
She warned her that if she does not speak outside and does not clean her name, she would make a formal complaint.
The next day, 9 April 2025, when Alam was still processing his confrontation with the duration, there was a knock on his door.

Alam says that when she was in custody, her photos from public programs where she appeared in the former ministers or in the Indian High Commission was broadcast online by unknown accounts, incorrectly portraying her as a prostitute or foreign agent, “reducing my work and identity”.
Meanwhile, a group of 27 women’s rights advocates wrote to the interim leader of Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh, seeking immediate release of Alam. “If you are constantly making ‘anti-state’ statements about me, I mean, no matter how positive I am, it is a hindrance in my work,” Alam says. “It has been five months, and this way I can’t survive.”
