HM Amit Shah to inaugurate the biggest dairy facility of Rs 825 crore in Haryana today

New Delhi, October 3 (IANS) Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will visit Haryana on Friday to inaugurate India’s largest dairy production facility in addition to development projects worth Rs 825 crore in Kurukshetra.

A spokesperson of the state government said on Thursday that HM Shah would inaugurate the newly constructed Saber Dairy plant at IMT Rohtak as part of the efforts to promote the cooperative sector. Buced for Rs 325 crore, the plant will give home to state -of -the -art machinery, which will be formally commissioned by the Union Minister.

This facility is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for about 1,000 people. The Saber Dairy plant is India’s largest production facility for yogurt, buttermilk, and yogurt, with daily capacity of 150 MT of curd, 3 lakh liters of buttermilk, 10 lakh liters of yogurt and 10 MT.

The specksperson further shared hm shah will also distribute tool kits to 2,200 artisans during the ‘khaadi karigar mahotsav’ at Maharashi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Conducted by Khadi and Village Industries Commission under the Ministry of MSME, the incident has been given the theme “Swadeshi C Swavalamban”.

During the program, he will also distribute modern machinery and tool kits with Rs 301 crore as margin money under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP).

This festival is an important step towards promoting indigenous handicrafts and Khadi industry, ensuring the participation of local artisans.

In addition, he will inaugurate the PMEGP units and later address a gathering. In Kurukshetra, HM Shah will inaugurate the five -day exhibition on India’s new criminal laws. The purpose of the exhibition is to help lawyers, students, parents and common citizens to understand recent reforms in criminal justice system.

The exhibition will demonstrate changes and achievements brought by new laws and divide the roles of seven separate departments into 10 thematic classes.
