Mumbai, October 2 (IANS) Shiv Sena chief leader and Maharashtra Vice President Eknath Shinde on Thursday attacked his former boss and Shiv Sena UBT chief UBT chief Ubdhav Thackeray, saying he is not the one who takes care of iron clothes and runs in a vanity van.
At the Dussehra rally held at the Nesko Center in Goregaon, Shinde responded to the criticism of his photo on the support packets distributed to the flood victims, saying that the opposition only sees our pictures; They do not see the material inside those pictures.
“Shiv Sena is working to wipe the tears of the affected people today. 26 types of essential commodities have been given to them. From wheat, rice, pulses, sugar to sarees and blankets, everything has been given to our beloved sisters. Have you taken a biscuit too?” He asked taking a swipe in Thackeray.
“It feels good when our workers are helping during the flood disaster by posting their photos. Why do the workers post so much criticism? What will the photographer see? The pictures are not even the pictures. Some people also came and went. They came. They came with a gimmick.
Shinde also excavated in Thackeray, stating that he is not a Shiva soldier who works from home. “I am not to work from home and do Facebook live,” he said, saying that Thackeray does not work enough on-ground.
“Balasaheb used to say that a Shiva soldier should not be seen in crisis and should be seen at the door of the people,” he said.
“Today, we see that Baliraja (farmer) is in trouble. He has tears in his eyes. Their grief is very good. Their agriculture has been washed, their crops have been destroyed. Livestock has been washed by 80, and houses have collapsed. I am looking at the victims with my own eyes, and should work in this way, because we are never a helping politics and we are not there.
He also claimed that even in the past, when there was drought or flood, the Shiv soldiers had provided food grains, water and fodder to the farmers.
“Wherever there is a crisis, there is Shiv Sena, wherever there is a disaster, there is Shiv Sena. Wherever there is a crisis, your Eknath Shinde will not remain there. The column of help is Shiv Sena’s policy. Whenever there is a disaster, the Shiv Sena runs to help,” he said.
He urged the party employees to give priority to these farmers to help participate in the rally, stressing that instead of focusing people, attention should be focused on serving people.
Shinde announced that he would not allow the flood victims to be black Diwali; They will get help before Diwali.
