Jaipur, October 2 (IANS) On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Minister of State for Home Minister Jawahar Singh Bedd said on Thursday that Ram Rajya will be strong in Rajasthan, and Ravana has no place in today’s India.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office, Bedam said, “Ravana represents evil, and the people of this country have erased it. You see, Ram devotees have now ruled the nation for three conditions. Ravana is not seen anywhere and there is no place in today’s India.”
Starting a scary attack on the previous Congress rule, Bedam cited the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report. He claimed that under the Gehlot government, crime increased rapidly in Rajasthan, making “Jungle Raj”.
“During the tenure of Gehlot in 2023, rape incidents, violence against women, crimes against scheduled tribes, and cyber crimes were continuously increasing. Yet leaders like Gehlot and Dotasara continued to mislead the public,” said Bedam.
On the contrary, he said that under the BJP government of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the crime has been effectively controlled and the graph is decreasing rapidly.
Asking for accountability, Bedam demanded, “Based on the NCRB report, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara should repent from his post and resign.”
Praising the current BJP government, Bedam said that CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is implementing people-centered schemes which spreads happiness, peace and harmony.
Recently commenting on the lathi charge on NSUI activists during a university protest, Bedam defended the police action: “The Rashtrapati Vayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) is a national organization that has completed 100 years. If some so -called student leaders have interrupted such events in the name of NSUI and will be involved in the Hulganism.”
He further accused the Congress of the history of such behavior, recalling the events at the University of Delhi, where anti-national slogans were raised.
“When the RSS holds a social program, the Congress members enter the NSUI mask to create anarchy. It is in his blood,” Bedam commented.
The minister said, “The morale of Rajasthan Police is increasing under our rule, opposite to the Congress rule.”
