Second-jewelery Citroen The C5 Aercross is all about comfort, comfort, comfort. The first time is available as an electric model, the new flagship falls on the same Stla-M platform, which comes as its stalantis stalamets: The Sporty Puzo E-3008 and Strait-Laxhall Grandland. But where those cars pursue different preferences, the C5 aercross is different as an unwavering sensible and quiet family SUV.
The headlineer here is an extended range battery option, which offers a huge and Tesla-Voring 422 mile range. Both options provide the trademark progressive hydraulic suspension of Citroen, which delivers the silk ride comfort, loads more space in the rear, a lot of tech and posh New ‘Zen Lounge’ cabin is centered around a large and clean profile touchscreen.
C5 feels un-through deliberately feeling un-through, with 0-62mph time of 8.9 seconds, finally serving the car’s attention to comfort and practicality, rather than gidding, rocketship is notorious for most EVS for acceleration. It is also a good price for a large car, similar rivals are a shame with a similar price of £ 34,065.

Battery, range, charging, display and drive
The new E-C5 aercross is introduced with two battery options. The standard range model uses a 73kwh battery for a respectable 320 mile range. The show’s star is an expanded range model, which has a 97kwh battery and pushes the official range 422 miles.
Charging is handled up to 160kw DC, which allows 20 to 80 percent top-up in less than half an hour. Performance seems mature rather than electrification: 210hp standard range and 230HP extended range models go from 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds from leisurely-this is not a car that will spread your coffee to you.

Instead, driving experience is all about comfort. The trademark citroen suspension is sublime, lubricating bumps and provides an unaffected ride, without feeling disconnected by the road, while the steering feels accurate and safe. The C5 aercross is hardly going to set your pulse racing around the corners, but this is-the clear attention on the rest and calmness makes it an incredibly relaxed long-range cruiser.
Internal, practicality and boot location
The new ‘C-Zen Lounge’ continues the Chill Vibes of the interior C5 aercross. Thanks to the long wheelbase of the new platform, the passenger space is spacious, especially in the back where most of the additional rooms are added. Citroen claims the back knee room in the segment – I could swing my feet around the back without catching my knees – while the long riders would appreciate the extended headroom. The rear seats also prepare again. Top trim levels have warm seats, as well as a renunciation sunroof that makes the internal location feel even more cavernous.

The front, the ‘sofa design’ dashboard is ornate in light or deep fabrics, in which alternative ambient light makes a living room-mama. Citroen is particularly proud of their ‘advanced rest’ ventilated seat design, and they should be. The C5 is more enjoyable to operate than a aercross drive – your passengers certainly have the best seats in the house.

Practicality on the old C5 aercross is another huge improvement. The boot space is a generous 651 liter, thanks to the more efficient packaging in each petrol, plug-in and battery models. With 40/20/40 split rear seats, it spreads up to 1,985 liters. The top-spec model provides some additional features like a operated tailgate with a hand-free opening.
Technology, Stereo and Infotainment
Technology leads a leap in the second generation C5 aercross. The dashboard is designed around a fancy new ‘cascade’ touchscreen, a 13in display that runs from the front of the dash down to complete the center console. Climate controls are still digital, but remain permanently in the lower part of the performance with other important functions. It is easy to navigate with a straight and uncontrolled interface.

You get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, and all trim levels get a smart-covered wireless charging pad that gently illuminates when used. The top-spec Max model behaves with the head-up display and some additional driving aid features, such as automatic lane changing, but even the cheapest model provides a good amount of kits for money.
Prices and running costs
The pricing for the All-Electric C5 aercross begins at a competitive £ 34,065 for you! Growing up to £ 36,705 for trim, plus and £ 39,345 for top-spec Max. It has an aggressive stance against rivals in the category, provides more space and, in many cases, more limit for less money.
Adding to the appeal Citroën’s new eight years, is a 100,000-mile warranty, which covers the entire vehicle, not only the battery. Combined with impressive efficiency of the car, guarantee C5 aercross makes a compelling long -term ownership proposal to families.

Decision: Citroen C5 Aercross
Citroen has played for its strength with the C5 aercross, completing the range with a new all-electric flagship that distributes the price, comfort, range and practicality. It is assured and self-obsessed with a sportier rivals to give up raw performance, but as a cool and practical family EV, it is luxurious.
