Rajasthan: Kota set to record with 221-foot Ravana effigy

Jaipur, October 2 (IANS) The National Dussehra Festival is ready to make history in Kota, Rajasthan in 2025 as the city will witness to the burning of Ravana’s effigy for more than 221 feet, which has been the longest ever.

This monumental spectacle is set to earn a prestigious place in both India Book of Records and Asia Book of World Records.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will follow the program as the main guests.

Ravana’s record-breaking 221-foot-tall mannequin is specially designed for the occasion, affected by 60-foot high effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakaran. These huge structures have already designed thousands of people to see the grandeur in Dussehra grounds, families, children and friends with a large number of friends.

As part of the local tradition, many attendees are seen pelting the Ravana effigy with stones, a symbolic act that is considered to bring peace and prosperity. This year, there will be a high -tech Ravana Dahan with green fireworks, which will be controlled electronically.

The pupil is equipped with 5 fireworks systems and 20 blasting points. The performance of fireworks will begin with explosions in Ravana’s umbrella and crown, followed by his face, shield, sword and navel.

Importantly, only environmentally friendly “green” fireworks will be used, which will mark a significant change towards permanent ceremonies.

After Ravana Dahan, a luxurious stage 2 fireworks show will be within the show fairground, which will be characterized by colored crackers, golden shots, and dazzling gold coin-style aerial burst, which enhances the festive environment.

Vijayadashami is being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over Rajasthan.

In Jaipur, a 121-foot Ravana effigy has been installed at Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium and will be established in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Dia Kumari at 8:15 pm, who will work as the chief guest.

Meanwhile, Adarsh ​​Nagar will host a 105 -foot Ravana effigy at 7:30 pm, and Mansarovar will see a 70 -foot effigy in flames. Similar programs are being organized at many places across the state.

In Kota, the producer of Ravana Putli, the producer of Ravana Putli, revealed that it has 5 fireworks units and 20 blasting points. The performance will begin with an explosion in Ravana’s umbrella, followed by a sequence of fireworks on his crown and face. Color fireworks – green, yellow and blue – will explode in succession. Blasting points are strategically placed in the forehead, chin, shoulders, shields, swords and even Ravana’s navel and legs, promising a visually dramatic conclusion.

According to Fair Committee Chairman Vivek Rajvanshi, the entire setup has used green fireworks to reduce environmental impact. Along with Ravana, 60 feet of effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakaran were also installed on Wednesday, each of which had 10 blast points and equipped with eco-friendly pyros.

Dignitaries Expected at the Kota Event Include Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Energy Minister Hiral Nagar, Hiral Nagar, Hiral Nagar, MLAL NAGAR, Dhariwal, Sandeep Sharma, and Kalpana Devi.

In another unique initiative, a 52 -foot Ravana effigy made of cow dung has been prepared in Hanumangarh. The pupil, which will remain flat on the ground, is made of cow dung, reeds, coconut and cow’s ghee, and excludes bamboo, plastic and traditional firecrackers-makes it completely environmentally friendly. The irritation is prescribed for 6:06 pm, with full support from local cow shelters.
