Howrah-based businessman recovered from Hooghly district in Bengal

Kolkata, 1 October (IANS) The body of a businessman working from Howrah district adjacent to Kolkata in West Bengal was found on Wednesday from a residential complex in Chandnagar in Hooghly district.

The deceased businessman has been identified as Wasim Akram. He was allegedly missing from his residence in Howrah for the last three days. The recovery of his body under mysterious circumstances has created a wave in Chandenagar on Wednesday evening, which is eventually the last day of Maha Navami on the last day of Durga Puja Festival.

It is learned that 30 -year -old Akram was involved in Ratna’s trade. He was allegedly missing since September 28, and on the same evening, his family members filed a missing man report at the local Golbari police station in Howrah district.

Local policemen were searching for him, and finally, on Wednesday evening, his body was recovered from a flat in a residential complex in Chandenagor.

The flat from where his body was recovered, he was rented by another person named Qazi Mohsin, with whom the dead person had a business relationship. Mohsin, the businessman of gems was also arrested by the police.

Akram’s family members claimed that he was murdered, and the reason behind the murder was probably some commercial rivalry. Incidentally, Akram’s marriage was fixed on 28 October.

An investigating officer said that when Akram’s body was recovered, his hands were tied to the tape, and his lips were sealed with a piece of tape. A huge trolley bag was recovered from the room where his body was found.

The deceased businessman’s body has been sent for post -mortem examination, and the exact cause behind his death can be detected, which can be detected only after the autopsy report is available.

The police has started a detailed investigation into the case.
