Gaza Flotila – Live: Greta Thunberg detained as a vessel by Israeli forces

Global Sumud Flotila has accused Israel of using “active aggression” against its crew as it confirms that all passengers were untoward.

It is written in a post on Telegram: “Israeli business naval forces have used active agriculture on Global Sumud Flotila.

“The Florida vessel is deliberately rotated into the sea. Yulora, Matech and others are targeted with water cannons.

“This illegal attack on unarmed human vessels is a war crime. All passengers on the board are unpounted.”

According to the Israeli Ministry of External Affairs, Gita Thunberg is being “safely stopped” and “transferred to an Israeli port” from several floral crew members.

“Already many vessels of Hamas-Sumud Flotila have been safely stopped and their passengers are being transferred to an Israeli port. Greta and their friends are safe and healthy,” it is written in a post on X.

Italy’s largest union called a general strike on Friday to protest against the treatment of a floatla to bring assistance to Gaza, said on Wednesday.

Protests were also being organized in several Italian cities late on Wednesday, including Naples, where the protesters stopped train traffic at the main station that some 20 unidentified ships were seen reaching the International Flotila.

Israel has condemned Floralla as a “PR stunt”, in which several boats involved in the report have been interrupted.

In a post on X, its MBSador for the United Nations Danny Danon wrote: “We will not allow any PR stunts that reach near an active battle area to violate our sovereignty.

“For those who tried to illegally enter the Israeli field, they will be deported immediately after Yom Kipping in Israel. Israel has repeatedly offered a way to help Gaza to help Gaza, but it is not interested in floral aid – only stimulation.”

Activists from the Global Sumud Flotila have posted their response that they have released Israel’s “threat” to their flora through radio.

In a radio message posted by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, boats were directed to change the course and “provide assistance through installed channels”.

In a video posted on Telegram Channel in Flotila, activist Thiago Avila says: “We are a peaceful, non -violent human mission.

“Our journey is legal under international law, and there is no attempt to disrupt us.

“We take food, aid, water filters, crutches, baby formulas to those you are killing.”

According to global Sumud Flotila, three boats have been called “illegal attacks on unarmed humanists” by the Israeli army.

In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the group stated that the other ships were about 70 knots from Gaza and planned to “continue uncontrolled”.

It also asked governments and world leaders to demand “safety and release” of all.

“On Wednesday, 1 October 2025 at around 8:30 pm, Gaza Time, several ships of Global Sumud Flotila – Natli Alma, Suris, Adara – were illegally intercepted and riding by Israeli occupied forces in international water,” said this.

“Before riding the ships illegally, it appears as if the Israeli naval ships deliberately damaged ship communication, blocking signs of crisis and trying to prevent live-stream of their illegal boat boarding.

“In addition to boats, being confirmed to be intercepted, live-stream coverage and communication are lost with many other boats.

“We are working hard for all the participants and crew. As soon as we have confirmed the information about the situation of boats, detention, injuries and possible casualties, we will share the updates.

“This is an illegal attack on unarmed humanists in international water. We ask governments, world leaders and international institutions to demand safety and release on the board and closely monitor the situation.

“Despite the blockage of some vessels, the global Sumud Flotila is 70 miles from the Gaza coast and will continue unlike.”

A member of a crew has said that his boat has been intercepted in a pre-ridden video posted on social media.

“If you are watching this video, it means that I have been kidnapped by the Zioni regime and our boat was stopped,” the singer Leela Hegaz wrote.

“Palestinians pressurize your governments to end their complexity in G-curtains and to ensure that all humanists on this mission are safe for our families.”

The Serious vessel, which makes part of Floralla, is integrated by the Israeli naval forces, claimed by the group.

It was written in a post on Instagram: “On October 1, 2025, the Israeli naval forces illegally intercepted and rode on Sirius, a global Sumud Floral vessel, along with other boats in international water.

“Live-stream and communication have been cut. Participants and crew positions are unconfirmed.

“This is an illegal attack on unarmed humanists. We ask governments and international institutions to demand their immediate security and release.”
