Chhattisgarh: Mobile police stations rolled out for a month-long anti-momist campaign in Narayanpur

Narayanpur, October 1 (IANS) In a decisive step to strengthen policing at the grassroots and deepen public confidence in law enforcement, Chhattisgarh Police has launched mobile police stations in all police station areas of Narayanpur district.

The initiative from October 1 to October 31, 2025, is part of an acute-Naxal campaign aimed at converting Narayanpur into a Maoist-free area.

Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria, Additional SP Akshay Sabdra, and Additional SP (Naxal Operations) Ajay Kumar have planned to raise resources to bring law enforcement directly to the people.

These mobile units will be deployed at major market locations on the specified dates, allowing citizens to file complaints, demand assistance and attach to the officials without visiting distant police stations. Mobile police stations are not just a complaint counter; They are the centers of awareness.

Each regulation will have a public outreach on the use of a digital platform orbital app for cybercrime prevention, traffic safety, crime deity and citizen-pollis interaction.

Special emphasis is being given to local people to educate the dangers of Maoism and encourage community participation in its elimination.

The role began on 1 October and it will include Orkha-Khas and will include variables at places like Dhurai, Benura, Kokodi, Kukdzor, Jhaghati, Kohkameta, Bharand, Kurushanar, Shednar, Sonpur, and Kutul.

Each site has been chosen strategically to maximize the public leg and ensure access.

SP Robinson Guria has directed all station house officials (SHOs) to prioritize civil complaints received in these mobile units.

The target is Swift resolution and visible accountability, strengthening the message that the police is not only promoter, but partners in community welfare.
