Nitish Kumar prays on Mahasapami, performs unity

Patna, September 29 (IANS) On the auspicious occasion of the Mahasapami, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited several Durga Puja pandals in Patna and searched for the blessings of Goddess Durga and prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the state.

The Chief Minister first prayed at Sri Sri Durga Puja Festival Shiv Temple, Khajpura and Sri Sri Durga Ashram, Sheikhpura, where he wished the celebrations for the people of Bihar.

He also performed rituals at the Shiva temple of Khajpura.

The priests present in the pandals offered to welcome her mother’s chunari. He spent some quality time in devotion to Goddess Durga.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar attended the Maha Aarti at the official residence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha in 3 Strand Road.

He lit the formal lamp and attended the Phalhar (fruit food) function, which is a symbol of harmony and devotion.

Nitish Kumar said, “I pray to Goddess Durga for the good and prosperity of the people of Bihar.”
