Congress criticized PM Modi, which compared to cricket match for OP Sindoor ‘

New Delhi, 29 September (IANS) criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and liking Indian cricketers for soldiers, people who celebrated the Indian victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup on Monday as “traitors”, who celebrated the Indian victory over Pakistan, should have demanded a boycott of the match.

In a video message posted on social media, Congress leader Supriya Shrinet went to the extent of calling the players as “money-garbing cricketers”, while criticizing PM Modi for comparing a sports program with military action like Operation Sindoor.

He said in a post on X, “PM Narendra Modi has crossed the borders … by comparing soldiers who sacrifice their lives on the border, with the money-hand cricketers.”

Shrinet shocked the PM comparing a cricket match with Operation Sindoor in the PM. “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw his social media message. Initially, I wondered if it was his verified eats or a troll that had posted the message,” he said.

The President of the Congress social media and digital platforms criticized the celebrations on a large scale after India’s victory and called the Revellers “traitors” as he clearly forgot about 26 terrorist killings in Pahgam on 22 April and did not boycott the match with Pakistan on India.

“The one who watched a cricket match. The one who celebrated the victory. He who dances with joy. Does the person not love this country? Did they not think of daughters whose husbands were lost?” He asked.

“If he was really patriot, he would have opposed playing cricket with a terrorist nation like Pakistan,” he said.

The Congress leader blamed PM Modi for allowing the match between India and Pakistan to move forward, alleging that it was a means of filling the pocket of Pakistan Cricket Board.

“This money is being used by Pakistan to build a house for terrorists, who will attack our country in turn,” he said.

Recalling PM Modi’s decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty after the terrorist attack, the pilgrimage said that at the time they announced, “Blood and water could not flow at the same time,” but when it came into cricket, he allowed “blood and cricket to flow at the same time”.

While the opposition found PM Modi a mistake with the anti -terrorism operation Sindor, adding the victory of India in Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup, his praise has won concrete public support and online support from the neti.

PM Modi’s post on social media, praising Team India’s victory over Pakistan in the final struggle, has been retweeted more than 107k and gathered more than 25 million raids – an online marker that reflects intensive public engagement on the tweet.

Soon after, men in Blue gave Pakistan a crushed defeat in the final of the Asia Cup, PM Modi took his X account and wrote, “Operation Sindor in the field of sports. The result is the same – India wins! Congratulations to our cricketers.”

In May, Operation Sindoor performed a fierce cross-border operation of the Indian Armed Forces in response to the Pahgam terror attacks, in which several terrorist launchpads inside Pakistan as well as terrorist infrastructure were also accurate and coordinated by forces.
