The judicial commission started investigating Karur’s stampede, in which 40 died

Chennai, September 28 (IANS) A single -member judicial commission of Justice Aruna Jagadisin (Rated) of Madras High Court to investigate the horrific stampede appointed by the Government of Tamil Nadu, in which 40 people died in a political rally in the agreement by actor and Tamilaga Weightry Kajgam (TVK).

The Commission will examine the potential laps in congestion measures, safety protocols and incident management, causing tragedy.

Officials said that the death toll included 27 residents of Karur district, while two victims came from Erode, Dindigul and Tiruppur, and one from Salem.
