Balakrishna called former-half CM Jagan Mohan Reddy as ‘Psycho’, YSRCP Hits Back

Amravati, September 26 (IANS) top Tollywood actor and Telugu Desmari Party (TDP) MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna called former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Ready ‘Psycho, which creates strong reaction from YSR Congress Party.

Speaking in the state assembly on Thursday, Balakrishna not only used the objectionable word for the former Chief Minister, but also dragged Megastar Chiranjeevi in ​​controversy and expressed displeasure with Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh, who was listed at ninth place in an invitation by Film Vikas Nigam.

MLA from Hindupur, Balakrishna, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu is the brother -in -law of Naidu, raising a line with his comments, as Chiranjeevi came out with a rapid response, while the opposition YSR Congress Party explained it as a rift within the ruling coalition government led by the TDP.

Kandula Durgesh Jana belongs to the Sena Party, headed by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, a popular actor and younger brother of Chiranjeevi.

All this began when speaking on law and order in the state, BJP MLA Kaminani Srinivas claimed that when YSRCP was in power and Tollywood celebrities wanted to discuss issues related to the industry with the then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, the then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Srinivas also claimed that when a delegation of film celebrities went to the Chief Minister’s house to meet him, he came down after raising his voice.

Balakrishna termed the BJP MLA’s claim wrong.

He commented that a delegation of representatives of the film industry had gone to meet ‘Psycho’ (mention of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy).

“It is wrong that he (former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy) came to meet him (Tollywood’s personality) when Chiranjeevi raised his voice,” Balakrishna said.

The actor also claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted the industry delegation to meet the Minister of Cinematography.

Balakrishna also expressed displeasure that his name was ninth in the list of recently received invitations from the Film Vikas Nigam to discuss issues related to the industry.

He addressed Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh directly to express his unhappiness.

Following Balakrishna’s comments in the assembly, Chiranjeevi clarified that he had gone to residence at his invitation by the then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Megastar said that during lunch, he explained Jagan Mohan Reddy about the problems faced by the Tollywood industry and sought time to meet him with delegations of industry representatives.

Chiranjeevi said that he was initially told that in view of the Kovid -19 sanctions, only five persons should come, but they agreed when it was reported that the delegation would have 10 members.

Megastar also revealed that he tried to contact Balakrishna to join the delegation, but he was not available.

Chiranjeevi said that the discussion with the Chief Minister took place in a cordial manner and claimed that the government agreed to increase the rates of cinema tickets due to his initiative.

The YSR Congress Party strongly reacted to the comments made by Balakrishna in the assembly.

Former MP Bharat Margini said that he condemns the use of derogatory and derogatory words by Balkrishna.

MLC Tumati Madhava Rao said that Balakrishna spoke in the assembly without any reference, which led to derogatory remarks, which only highlighted internal changes within the ruling TDP alliance.

He said, “If Balakrishna has problems with Chandrababu Naidu or Pawan Kalyan, he should solve them inside their camp. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is unacceptable dragging him into his facial quarrel,” he said.

YSRCP General Secretary Jupadi Prabhakar called Balakrishna a real “psycho”.

He said, “In such behavior, no one extends Balakrishna forward. He also obtained a mental health certificate in the Belmakonda Suresh firing case. A person with such history called YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a psycho,” he said.

He said that Balakrishna’s frustration stems from Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, which is ignoring him within the coalition government led by the ruling TDP.
