A medieval London Church Tower has been suspended 45 feet above the ground, which has never been seen before Engineering,

The tower of the All Hallows Stanning Church was balanced on the stills above 60,000 square feet of excavation site on 50 Fenchurch Street as part of a major City of London Building Project.

On Tuesday, a “bottling out” ceremony came after removing the Earth over 125,000 tonnes under the tower to make way for a 650,000 square -foot office tower.

Construction The church tower with the ground level will be reunited with the ground level to create a part of a new green public space from the 50 Fenchchra Street Development level. Development is to be completed in 2028.

The new 36-storey tower will also include ground-floor shops, 62,000 square meter meter space and a public garden roof, as well as a 360-degree ‘Public Realm Experience’.

As part of development, other buildings on the site, including the Church hall of St. Olev Heart Street and historic Clothworkers Hall, have already been demolished.

Built in the 14th century, all the remains of the All Hallos Staning Church are the tower, around 1320 AD.

It survived the great London fire in 1666, but collapsed after five years, an incident that occurred due to a lot of burial on the site.

The church is one of the two listed buildings that will work around the project, the other is the chapel crypt of the Lamb.
