Bangalore, 23 September (IANS) surrendered his second wife to the police in a full public scene 11 times in the entire public scene in front of the police in Bengaluru.
The accused has been identified as 43 -year -old Lohatashwa, also known as Lokesh, a native of Sira Town in Tumkuru district.
The incident occurred on Monday in front of the 12 -year -old daughter of the victim, Rekha.
DCP (West) S. Girish said on Tuesday that the accused voluntarily surrendered to the police and has been booked under Section 103 of the BNS Act. He said Lokesh excluded the crime from suspicion that his wife was involved with other men, a claim that appears baseless at this level.
According to the police, the victim, Rekha, a divorced and the mother of two daughters, recently married Lokesh. This was also his second marriage. Rekha, an employee of a private company, left his younger daughter with his parents and kept the elder with him. Lokesh objected to this and demanded that he send the elder daughter away, but Rekha refused.
In addition, Lokesh suspected Rekha, who worked in a private company, assuming that he was in affairs at his workplace. On Monday, when the line was standing at a bus stop near Sanakadkatte in Bengaluru, Lokesh chased her and stabbed her 11 times in front of her daughter and in other parts of the body. Even whenever intelligent tried to stop him, he threatened them and proceeded with a cruel attack.
He later threw the knife towards the public and fled from the spot.
Initial investigations have revealed that Hasan met the native of Chantrapatna, a cab driver, and Rekha, working in the same company, through friends. He was in a live-in relationship for almost a year and a half before he recently decided to get married.
The couple rented a house in Sankadkatte, where Lokesh often quarreled with Rekha with his elder daughter. On the day of murder, both of them fought a bitter battle at home. Rekha then left home with her daughter, but an angry Lokesh chased her and committed a crime.
The working police has further investigated.
