Ministry of Defense Unit hosted the job fair for ex -servicemen in Delhi

New Delhi: An official on Tuesday said an official said that under the East-Service Welfare Department of the East-Service Welfare Department of the Ministry of Defense, there was an employment fair for personnel of the former Armed Forces of the Director General, where 26 companies offered 100-plus jobs.

The Defense Ministry official said that the fair was attended by more than 300 retired/retired officials of the Armed Forces.

The program, held on Monday at the United Services Institution of India, provided a platform to the authorities to demonstrate their technical and administrative skills acquired during their years, the official said in a statement.

Shortlisted officials will be interviewed/examined and later will be employed in various roles from supervisory, technical, management and administration and strategic advisory roles.

This initiative enables corporates to benefit by screening pools of experienced, disciplined and skilled officers. This job is part of the ongoing efforts to facilitate other career opportunities for the pre-service of DGR.

This initiative is important because it helps retired armed forces personnel to infection smoothly in civil life that matches them with meaningful employment opportunities and match their discipline, leadership skills and technical expertise.

Earlier in July, a similar fair in Ahmedabad was located at the Ahmedabad Military Station in Shahhibagh, in Ahmedabad, which benefits about 800 ex -servicemen.

Major General Gaurav Bagga, General Officer Commanding 11 Rapid, was the chief guest at the Job Fair.

These fairs aim to add ex -servicemen with employment opportunities in various fields including security, operation, hospitality, healthcare, engineering and technical services. Participants were required to carry copies of their ESM identity card and their courses Weet.
