CM Mohan Yadav appealed to traders to promote indigenous products

Bhopal, 22 September (IANS), while leading the ‘Swadeshi’ campaign from the front in the state, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited about a dozen outlets, including jewelery and clothes shops and on Monday with traders in Bhopal.

During his interaction and abbreviation addresses while visiting various places, the Chief Minister talked about new goods and service tax (GST) rates, which have come into force from the first day of Navratri, saying that the occasion has brought the ‘Savings Festival’.

He passed through the market from Somwara area police post to Deepli Sari House, implemented the “GST Savings Festival” sticker at shops and warmly complicated with shopkeepers and customers.

The Chief Minister was also seen talking to women buyers, who expressed happiness over the new GST rate cut and expressed them. CM Yadav stressed that the new implemented GST rate cut will bring savings and prosperity to the people.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a gift of savings by reducing GST rates to the people of India. The initiative by the central government is like a Diwali gift for the citizens,” Yadav said while addressing the market in Bhopal.

Meanwhile, he appealed to everyone to adopt indigenous products, stating that the path of a self -sufficient India can be paved by giving priority only to local goods.

He said that the state government aims to promote local consumption of locally made products, which are the backbone of the economy.

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, the central government’s move is a historic and far -reaching step towards building a self -reliant and developed India, which will prove to be a milestone in the future,” Yadav said.

He also extended the wishes of Navratri and Dussehra to shopkeepers and customers, bought clothes for themselves, requested a proper bill, and paid through UPI – promoted digital payments.

Chief Minister Yadav called upon everyone to spread awareness about new GST rates and help in making the campaign a success.

After his market trip, CM Yadav interacted with representatives of various trade, commercial and social organizations at Motilal Mannulal Dharmashala.

The Chief Minister also visited the Mata temple and demonstrated the Kanya Pujan demanding blessings from young girls.
