Palamu (Jharkhand), September 22 (IANS) Tension caught Palamu district of Jharkhand on Monday, when the body of Rashtraapathri Janata Dal (RJD) leader Jaishankar Thakur was recovered from an agricultural area in his original village.

However, the police have not yet confirmed the cause of death, but his family alleged that he was murdered and his body was partially burnt with acid.

He said, “The exact reason will be established only after the post -mortem report. We are checking all the angles,” he said.

However, the villagers firmly contested this principle. He said that the weather was clear on Monday and there was no electricity activity in the area.
