No fear of being afraid of Arvind Kejriwal’s bid: Delhi CM Gupta

New Delhi, 22 September (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday asked former-Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to allege the “medical” video of his interview, saying that such individual attacks could not stop serving citizens to tarnish their image.

CM Gupta said, “I am the daughter of Delhi and with the blessings of mother Durga, I am not afraid of anyone. I want to announce that no power can stop me from serving 24×7, 365 days,” CM Gupta said, Kejriwal advised Kejriwal not to waste time to watch reels and videos.

In a strong message on the achievements of the Delhi government in the first seven months in the alleged attempt by the AAP leader, CM said, “I suggest to do something creative to Kejriwal. She will do well by focusing on the sufferings of people colliding in Punjab and taking steps to help them.”

Delhi CM’s outbreak against the National Convenor of AAP came to a program to launch a Foundation Stone for a new multi-storey Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus depot in Hari Nagar in West Delhi.

Addressing the gathering, CM Gupta, under the leadership of the previous government, hit Kejriwal to ignore the financial crises of DTC and push public transport utility to a loss of about Rs 65,000 crore-which is in the form of Delhi’s annual budget.

Earlier, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva trained his guns on Kejriwal to allege an edited part of the CM’s TV interview on social media with the aim of kicking a political controversy.

The Delhi BJP president claimed that Kejriwal has posted a “medical” video of a TV interview, which allegedly shows CM Gupta claiming that “the BJP is doing what the Congress did for 60/70 years”.

Sachdeva said that on watching the full video of the interview, it is clear that CM Gupta actually said that when the Congress and every other election were winning for 60/70 years, they had no problem, but now, when the BJP is winning, the opposition has accused of rigging.

Sachdeva said that it is shameful that Kejriwal himself is involved in promoting a video of a former CM, CM Gupta to reduce the image of CM Gupta and get political gains.

The BJP leader said that the problem of Kejriwal is that the performance of the seven -month Rekha Gupta government has crossed its 10 -year rule and he is desperate to run the CM and the BJP government in Delhi.
