K’Taka BJP celebrates GST reforms with cracker burst, distribution of sweets

Bengaluru, 22 September (IANS) Karnataka BJP celebrated the implementation of GST 2.0 system simplified by the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the NDA government and the implementation of the GST 2.0 system simplified by the NDA government with the distribution of sweets in Bengaluru and other parts of the state on Monday.

Party leaders and supporters welcomed the development with the ceremony at the BJP state office, Jagannath Bhawan in Bangalore, where firecrackers were torn and sweets were distributed.

Slogans were raised to PM Modi to simplify GST and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitarman. Later, sweets were distributed at shops in Malleshwaram.

Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Council N. Opposition Chief Koda in Ravikumar, former Union Minister A. Narayanaswamy, BJP State Vice President N. Mahesh, Bengaluru North District President S. Harish, former National General Secretary of SC Morcha Chai. No. Ramu, State spokespersons MG Mahesh and H. Venkatesh Doddheri, Mohan World, State Media convenor Karunkar Khasle, co-consumer Prashant Kadenji and several party workers were present.

The BJP state president and MLA by Vijayendra on Monday celebrated the implementation of the GST 2.0 system simplified by the NDA government by distributing sweets in shops and markets at Shivamogga.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the introduction of the two-slab GST system was like a Diwali gift to the people. “For this, BJP congratulates PM Modi and Finance Minister Sitarman,” he said and said that ceremonies were held on behalf of the people to express gratitude to the central government.

Vijayendra said that while US President Trump increased the tariff in many countries, at a time when India was given great challenges, PM Modi sent a clear message that India will neither yield nor bow to anyone.

He criticized the Congress party, saying that he won several elections with the slogan ‘Poverty fasting (erased poverty)’ but failed to erase poverty in the country. He insisted that India should now move towards self -sufficiency and convert into a rich nation, so that more emphasis can be given on indigenous products.

He further stated that all matters should be contacted with a comprehensive plan to face global challenges, and India should aim to convert to a developed nation by 2047.

Legislative Council members DS Arun and Dr. Dhananjay Sarji, Shivamogga District President NK Jagdish, City Mandal President Mohan Reddy and several party workers were present.
