TN Bjp DMK to start a statewide protest against the government’s failures from 5 October

Chennai, September 22 (IANS) Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a series of statewide protests in all 234 assembly constituencies, which targets what it says to the DMK’s “corrupt, lawless and misleading rule”.

The movement, starting from October 5 and continuing to 30 November, State Secretary Vinith B. Selvam was declared by Selvam under the instructions of State BJP President and Legislature Party leader Nanner Nagendran.

The BJP alleged that the DMK government has failed on many fronts in the last four years – from deteriorating laws and order and major corruption to drug trafficking and dangerous rise of political violence.

Selvam said in his statement, “DMK dreams of spreading false promises and maintaining power by bathing voters with cash-ups. It is our democratic duty to highlight these failures and to protect people in the wrong way of one family.”

The BJP accused the DMK of betraying students, teachers, workers and poor to cancel education loans, fill 3.5 lakh government vacancies, restore the old pension scheme, provide permanent employment to part -time teachers and to believe the poor to provide permanent employment to part -time teachers and regularize Anganwadi and nutrition workers.

Accused in the statement,

The party also pointed to the unaccompanied commitment of DMK on monthly electricity billing and LPG subsidy, while instead he burdened the citizens with power tariffs, property tax, milk prices and standing ups in essential commodities.

“Thousands of crores of rainwater drainage projects in Chennai have failed to stop floods,” BJP said, “the BJP said.

Highlighting the deteriorating law and order, the party recalled the killings of political leaders like BSP’s Armstrong and BJP activist Balachandran in Chennai, killing the killings of social workers and government officials by criminal and mining mafia, as well as increasing danger of Narcotics Network.

The statement said, “Lock-up Deaths, Huch tragedies, Tasmac scams and Brezen corruption in every department defines this unsuccessful governance.”

Through planned protests, the BJP stated that its purpose is to “tear the so -called Dravidian masks, which is nothing but a model of failure,” and demanding immediate redressal of people’s complaints in every constituency.
