Arunachal CM awards the award by Hindu College OSA

New Delhi/Itanagar, 21 September (IANS) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has been honored with the ‘Outstanding Public Service Award’, prestigious by the Old Students Association (OSA) of her Alma Mater, Hindu College, New Delhi.

An official of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that the award was established by the alumni of Hindu College to recognize the extraordinary contribution in society and governance, presented during the ceremony in New Delhi on Sunday, its 20th OSA Hindu College District Alumni Awards, 2025, New Delhi.

On behalf of the Chief Minister, the award was received by Nong Mai, President of Arunachal Pradesh Forest Corporation Limited, who himself was an alumnus of Hindu College.

Chief Minister Khandu expressed his deepest gratitude for the association for recognition and dedicated respect to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, whose trust, cooperation and progress of collective spirit have guided his visit to public service.

In his message, Khandu said, “This is actually recognized by my Alma Mater that we are working in Arunachal Pradesh. This honor is not for me alone but for the people of my state, who inspire me to work hard for a bright future every day. I thank the Old Students Association for this recognition.

An official statement issued by the CMO stated that one of the most prominent alumni in the Old Students Association of Hindu College, India, celebrates the achievements of its members who have contributed significantly to diverse fields.

“This year’s recognition of Khandu highlights its transformative leadership in Arunachal Pradesh, is marked by the major progress in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, good governance, good governance, empowerment, and environmental stability of women. Members of the Hindu College OSA appreciated the achievements of the Chief Minister and confirmed their pride under their leadership, which is a bright example of the permanent heritage of the Hindu college leaders who serve the nation with integrity and dedication.

Other prestigious award winners include filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Supreme Court Judge Manmohan Malhotra and Rajiv Nayyar (Lifetime Achievement).
