New Delhi, September 21 (IANS) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday asked former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to post an edited part of the interview of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta with the aim of kicking a political dispute.
The BJP president of Delhi said that Kejriwal has posted a “medical” video of a TV interview, which allegedly shows CM Gupta claiming, “The BJP is doing what the Congress did for 60/70 years”.
Sachdeva said, seeing the full video of the interview, it becomes clear that CM Gupta actually said that when the Congress and every other were winning every election for 60/70 years, they had no problem, but now, when the BJP is winning, the opposition has accused of rigging.
Sachdeva said that it is shameful that Kejriwal himself is involved in promoting a video of a former CM and AAP national convenor, CM Gupta and promoted a video to get political gains.
The BJP leader said that the problem of Kejriwal is that the performance of the seven -month Rekha Gupta government has crossed his 10 -year rule.
Earlier, BJP spokesperson Pravin Shankar Kapoor from Delhi alleged another AAP leader that drugs were freely available in the city.
He said that AAP leaders like Durgesh Pathak have to see the concerns of drug sales or misuse of young drugs in Delhi – they are nothing more than political allegations, he said.
He said that drug addiction is not something that develops overnight, and campaigning against drugs is not the only responsibility of Delhi Police. The Excise Department, which is responsible for such campaigns, belongs to the Delhi government.
“If drugs are being sold in Delhi today,” Kapoor said, “then it will be going on during the tenure of the AAP government.”
He raised a question for the reader: “On what basis are you blaming the current BJP government, who is in power for only 6 or 7 months for the sale of drugs in the city?”
Can he tell people what anti -drug operations were run by the Department of Excise Department of the previous AAP government in Delhi during his 11 -year rule? He said.
