Delhi CM Rekha Gupta PM Modi, Swadeshi Push for GST reforms

New Delhi, 21 September (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday made a inspirational call to the countrymen to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi a symbol of indigenous to the landmark GST reforms and the countrymen for their inspirational calls and decorate every shop with Swadeshi.

Reacting to PM Modi’s special address to the nation in the event of the implementation of GST 2.0, CM Gupta rebuilt his comments on X and said, “A savings festival starts on the first day of Navratri.”

He also shared PM Modi’s remarks that MSME and small enterprises would be benefited by the next generation GST.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva also welcomed the implementation of the GST reforms of the next generation by PM Modi’s government, stating that the PM has given a big gift to the common people and traders of the country and Delhi on the first day of Navratri.

Sachdeva said that these reforms will not only make the essential commodities cheaper, but will also enable traders to invest more in their businesses, while they will help avoid complex legal obstacles related to taxation.

He said that before the festive season, the Central Government’s decision serves as a festival of savings for the people of Delhi. He said, “This initiative will benefit everyone-from traders and shopkeepers to poor, middle class, youth, farmers, women and entrepreneurs,” he said.

Sachdeva said that PM Modi’s government, which fulfilled the dream of ‘One Nation, One Tax’, has now taken another step to reduce the financial burden on citizens before the festival season.

He appealed to the people of Delhi to support local products and buy-in-India goods made during this festival season to contribute to the journey to make India self-sufficient.

Earlier, on the eve of landmark GST reforms, PM’s address to the nation gave a strong message on cooperative federalism as he called upon the states to join the Center’s efforts to feel the dream of a self -sufficient India.

In addition to greeting people on the eve of ‘Bakhat Utsav’ or ‘Savings Festival’ and motivating them to like Indian products on foreign people, PM Modi appealed to all state governments to actively support the self -respecting India and indigenous campaigns.

“When the Center and the states move together, the dream of a self -sufficient India will be fulfilled, every state will develop, and India will become a developed nation,” he said.

Demanding support from the state governments, PM Modi urged him to promote manufacturing in his areas with full energy and enthusiasm by creating a favorable environment for investment.

PM Modi saw the next generation of goods and service tax (GST) reforms as a historic and underlined the fact that this step would be a big step towards the homage.
